The link router pattern | James’ Coffee Blog James shares some cool examples of what he calls “link router” sites, including his own Subscribe Openly. I agree with James that it is frustrating that the onus is on the person sharing the link. I like to use pods.link and songs.link because that’s the experience I would prefer to have but I don’t think I’ve ever gotten one of those links from someone. It does feel like it wouldn’t be too much work to build a type service like what he describes… will definitely have to have a think on it…

Indieweb Movie Club - The Castle (1997)

I watched The Castle (1997) for the April movie club… great choice Zachary Kai! In short, I really enjoyed this film. Go watch it. I’ll admit the trailer didn’t really sell me on it but after watching the first eight minutes on YouTube, I was in. It’s about a working-class Australian family that fights to keep their beloved home from being torn down to expand an airport. The humor is definitely my style with a fast stream of jokes, most of which came from the dialog but there were also some fun visual gags. ...
